Susan Wheeler printmaker

This workshop is suitable for those who have been on the Introduction to Linocut Workshop, or have already done some linocutting.

During this workshop you will learn how to make a 2 or 3 colour linocut, using either the reduction or multiplate method. We will discuss how to design for a linocut, different ways to use ink and how to register the different layers of colour. 

There will be breaks for tea/coffee, lunch (homemade soup & bread) and afternoon tea (+ homemade cake).

The workshop is run from the tutor's garden studio. The tutor, Susan Wheeler, is a member of the Oxford Printmakers and the Oxford Art Society and has taught and practised linocut & printmaking for many years.
